Hey, I'm Susi!

I specialize in coaching piano teachers through every stage of their careers—whether launching a new studio, revitalizing an established practice, or deepening their pedagogical approach. My training spans diverse methodologies including Suzuki, traditional piano instruction, Kodály, Solfège, and Music Mind Games with Michiko Yurko.

Beyond the piano, my musical background enriches my teaching philosophy: from Commedia dell'Arte and Musical Theater to Composition and Improvisation, from intimate ensemble singing to sacred choir direction and church worship, as well as teaching children Solfege, harmony, ensemble, and a plethora of classroom games. This multifaceted experience allows me to help teachers develop well-rounded, creative approaches that inspire both themselves and their students.

With four children of my own, I have the invaluable and coveted perspective of the parent, the invisible force of influence behind every teacher's studio culture. I bring this vital, empathetic knowledge to every teachers' studio development.
